The Colyton Grammar School Parents Association (CGSPA) are pleased to announce that their Spring Fair will be taking place within the grounds of Colyton Grammar School.

Taking place on Saturday, April 22 between 11.30 and 4 pm. The event is free to attend and open to the general public and will see over 50 local businesses, from all over Devon and the South West, selling their artwork, craft and natural produce.

With the coming of Spring we all start to pay attention to our outside spaces and the garden and floral industry will be well represented at the fair by local nursery ‘CB Plants’, ‘The Gardener’s Blacksmith’ and local florists ‘Parish Petal’ and ‘Coly Garden Flowers and Ethan's Succulents’.

With a focus on local traders, the fair will see artisan food producers such as ‘The Flaming Good Pizza Co’, authentic Thai food from ‘Pop Lane Farm’, traditional Italian Gelato from ‘Gelateria Cortona’, small batch rum from ‘Black Ven Distillery Ltd’ and award winning South Indian food from ‘Komban’ takeaway plus many more.

Living in such a beautiful part of the country it is little surprise that the area inspires many artists and craftspeople and we are delighted to be able to welcome many of these to our event. Ceramicist Caroline Barnes, artists Anne Townsend, Hannah Oram and Jan Daniels will all be taking stalls along with other local craftspeople producing a multitude of items such as candles and wax melts, sterling silver jewellery, silk scarves, hand made cards, Italian leather handbags, sculpture, stationary and willow craft.

This exclusive shopping event will be the ideal opportunity to purchase gifts and homeware for all your friends and family - in addition to all of the above our younger guests will also be catered for with hair braids, face painting and glitter bar provided by 'Nutty Nuts face painting', sweets and popcorn from 'Rogan & Sons', children's books from the 'House of Books' and children’s clothing from 'JustClaire Designs'.

All proceeds from the fair will go towards the fantastic work which the PA does for the students and larger school community and beside our wonderful local businesses the PA wall also be running BBQ and prosecco stalls, second hand books, second hand uniform, tombola and tea and cakes.

What more could one possibly ask for on a Spring afternoon in East Devon?!
