Colyton Theatre Group are currently in rehearsal for their production of Terry Pratchett’s ‘Wyrd Sisters’ at the end of April.
The show, adapted from the book by Stephen Briggs, will be at Colyton Town Hall from Thursday, April 27 until Saturday 29.
A spokesperson for Colyton Theatre Group said: “This wonderfully quirky and funny adaptation of the book by Terry Pratchett is ideally suited to amateur dramatic groups. The combination of a cast of main characters, both large and small, plus a supporting ensemble cast, offers many opportunities for wannabe actors of any age and ability.
"There are many hilarious moments for all involved and the biggest challenge on opening night will be ensuring the audience are laughing more than the cast.
“The play is directed by Adam Owen-Jones, who also directed the successful production of 'Confusions' in July 2022. There are many familiar faces front and backstage and also some new ones, who we hope will return to perform with CTG in the future.
“Due to the success of CTG cafe theatre nights post-Covid, we are keeping the same format for 'Wyrd Sisters'. Please join us for a fun-filled evening: as Granny Weatherwax would say, ‘It's a long time since I heard a theatre played properly’.”
Tickets are available from Central Stores, Colyton; the Archway Bookshop, Axminster and The Owl & Pyramid, Seaton.
