Honiton charity See The Future held its 12th Annual Summer Ball last week, spreading the awareness of going to the opticians, not just for vision but for other detectable health issues.

Earlier this year, See The Future celebrated being officially registered for 10 years and like most charities, they're set up because it personally affects them this was the case for Leanne (founder) as she lost her Mum to a rare eye cancer called Ocular Melonoma after the opticians detecting high pressure on her right eye.

The charity ball was held at Woodbury Park Hotel and had more than 110 guests and supporting acts, including the Honiton Gymnastics, who gave the 'wow' factor.

Leanne, founder of Honiton See The Future said: "I only charged cost price for ball tickets this year due to the cost of living crisis. I wanted people to enjoy themselves, and the charity is more prominently known for spreading awareness.

"Guests still wanted to show their support to a worthy cause, and they helped raise, just for the raffle and icebreaker game an amazing £1400.00. I can't thank everyone who was involved in the evening enough."
