Axminster and District Choral Society are currently on the lookout for new members as we start rehearsals for their autumn concert.
The programme includes J S Bach’s joyful cantata Wachet Auf (Sleepers Wake), and Vivaldi’s Magnificat and Credo.
A spokesman for Axminster and District Choral Society said: "Our autumn term starts on September 5th. Come along for a trial rehearsal or two to see whether you would like to join us. There are no auditions and you don’t have to be able to read music. Scores are provided.
"We meet in the Minster Church, Axminster on Tuesdays from 7.30 to 9.30. Rehearsals are led by our Music Director Peter Parshall and are both enjoyable and interesting."
