On 28th October The Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis will play host to a homecoming concert for Dorset based band India Electric Company.

Just three weeks ago, the band appeared at The Royal Albert Hall to a full house alongside legendary guitarists and singer Midge Ure.

Devon-born singer Cole Stacey said: “It will be an incredibly special night for us to return home to Dorset and extra special as it's our last show on this tour, with possibly the most scenic view from a dressing room in the entire country."

He described getting the opportunity to play songs from their new album at The Royal Albert Hall by Ure as a “monumental privilege and joy” and that “It made perfect sense to us that we would finish this headline tour in our Westcountry home”.

Having both been brought up in East Devon, Joseph O’keefe and Cole Stacey’s unique approach has seen them blending traditional instruments, folk melodies and subtle electronic influences, across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Joined by percussionist Russell Field who Stacey describes as “A force of nature, bringing so much life to these songs” they have been described recently as “one of the truly pioneering acts” by FRUK and the show coincides with the release of their long awaited new single and forthcoming album release. It promises to be a very extraordinary night.
