A Branscombe man who has already raised £3,000 for charity through a gruelling triathlon has set himself a further 26 fundraising challenges.
Tim Reardon, 55, is raising money for the youth mental health charity Place2Be in memory of his nephew Billy Giles, who passed away in January 2021.
Billy was aged just 26 - so Tim has set himself a physical challenge for each year of his life, to be completed in 26 months.
They include running the 2024 London Marathon, climbing Ben Nevis, and several long cycle rides.
Tim's triathlon, completed in March this year, involved cycling 100 miles, swimming 50 laps of Sidmouth swimming pool and undertaking a skydive from 10,000 feet.
When he started training for it in the autumn of 2022 he was unable to swim and hadn't cycled since the age of 14.
Having succeeded in his triathlon, he is now undertaking his next set of challenges.
He told the Herald: "They're in no particular order as most will be weather dependent.
"I have already climbed Snowdon and Scafell Pike on the 30th September and am now training for the Marathon as I have never done any distance running since I was at school over 40 years ago and I will be 56 this week."
Tim's chosen charity, Place2Be, is working to improve mental health support for children in schools. His nephew Billy did not get the understanding or help he needed when he was at school, and Place2Be's work is preventing other young people from slipping through the net.
Tim has set up a new JustGiving page for his 26 challenges, which are as follows:
