Award-winning musicians The ZOOTS will play a New Year’s Eve concert in Seaton – where two of the band members have spent many holidays.

The band will perform a mixture of material from their theatre shows at The Gateway on December 31.

The ZOOTS play a huge repertoire of hits from the 1950s to the present day, including rock ‘n’ roll, pop, country, rock and disco. They have performed in more than 30 countries and played at top UK venues including Old Trafford and the London Palladium.

Lead singer and band manager Jamie Goddard said: "The ZOOTS have played in front of audiences on four continents, from Israel to Italy, Havana to Venice, Barcelona to Montego Bay — but there's something especially nerve-wracking about playing to a British crowd!"

Harriet Lowther, The ZOOTS' backing singer and lead percussionist, said: "It will be very special for us to play at Seaton with lots of holiday memories! We are coming down on the week of the show to help sell the last few tickets. We hope to visit The Quarry, The Tramway and all the places we used to go for summer holidays. We hope to bring back some lovely memories for us and more importantly, the people coming to the show!”

The ZOOTS are promising 'a journey of yesteryear with fantastic costumes, a video show and songs that will have you dancing and singing along'.

Tickets for The ZOOTS' New Years Eve Show are £25 including a disco with DJ. Call the Box Office on 01297 625 699  or book online via Ticketsource.
