Tesco customers in Axminster have been gifting toys to local children in need this Christmas.
From 20 November to 16 December, Tesco Axminster Superstore organised a collection of toys in store and shared these with The Community Waffle House, a non-profit café and community space for the whole community.
Helen Collins, store manager at Tesco Axminster Superstore, said: “I know that our customers will want to support this incredibly important cause.”
Claire De Silva, Head of Community at Tesco, said: “Our stores work so hard throughout the year to support their communities through donating food and helping children have a stronger start in life. It is fantastic that customers in Axminster have been able to support this very important cause this Christmas.
