A series of workshops aimed at helping people develop healthier eating habits is on offer to people in Honiton, Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary.

The workshops are being run by the local NHS Health and Wellbeing Team and are available to people registered with the Sid Valley Practice, the Coleridge Medical Centre and the Honiton Surgery. They will be held in Honiton.

The six weekly interactive sessions will help participants to change their relationship with food. They will explore how people’s environment affects their dietary choices, and will aim to build their self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth to help them make positive changes. The sessions will look at the barriers people face when it comes to supporting their health, including long-term conditions that involve a change of diet, and show how what people do 'off the plate’ is just as important for their health

The workshops will be taking place at Honiton Family Church at 1:15pm and 3:15pm on Wednesdays: January 31, February 7, February 21, February 28, March 6 and March 13.
