One of the top big bands in the south west is coming to The Beehive in Honiton on Thursday, January 18.
The Deane Big Band is based in Taunton and plays in and around Somerset and Devon. It performs music mostly from the classic era of the 1930s and 1940s, including favourites by Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Ted Heath.
The band’s two vocalists sing songs made popular by Frank Sinatra or recently recorded by Michael Bublé.
Tickets are available now: Early Bird £11 (until January 11), general admission £14. The concert starts at 8pm and the bar will be open from 7pm.
