New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of East Devon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Hawkchurch Resort And Spa at Hawkchurch Country Park, Wareham Road, Hawkchurch, Axminster; rated on February 1
• Rated 5: Finishing Touches at 7 Harbour Road, Seaton; rated on January 30
• Rated 5: Temple Bar at Sea Dog Art Gallery, Beacon Hill, Exmouth; rated on February 1
The Heavitree - Project X, a pub, bar or nightclub at 13 High Street, Exmouth was given the maximum score after assessment on September 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of East Devon's 142 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 92 (65%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
