A show that acts as a time capsule to the 50s and 60s is taking over Axminster Guildhall.

Dubbed Lollipops & Moptops, it's a celebration of nostalgia and a chance for attendees to revisit golden years or experience what they missed.

Comic Alan Mosca, still a crowd magnet after previously performing with Freddie & The Dreamers and the 60s touring show, The Sensational Sixties Experience, retells stories from those decades.

With his touch of comedy, he animates a slice of music history, as Buddy Walker breathes life back into Buddy Holly's look and hits.

Mr Walker, a multi-award-winning artist, delivers magical hits from this legend, captivating fans for over 20 years.

The Temple Brothers, Steve and Colin, will perform a tribute to The Everly Brothers.

The real-life brothers have gifted audiences with their harmonies and uncanny portrayal of Don and Phil for over 15 years.

They said: "We perform beautiful songs such as All I Have To Do Is Dream, Let It Be Me, Cathy’s Clown, Crying In The Rain plus many more."

Midweek Herald: Lollipops & Moptops is coming next year and acts as a time capsule to yesteryear

The Dreamers, originally known as 'Freddie and The Dreamers', recreate hits like You Were Made For Me, and Over You.

Alan Mosca, a veteran band member for over 37 years, shared stages with Gerry and The Pacemakers, The Searchers and even appeared on television with Cilla Black and at The Noel Edmunds House Party.

Described as "pure class," the two-hour performance promises a journey down a spectacular 50’s & 60’s music avenue.

Lollipops & Moptops is not merely a show, but a heartfelt love letter to the era of 50’s and 60’s, making it a perfect night out for all the family.

The show will grace Axminster Guildhall on November 7, 2025.
