Patients at Honiton Surgery have been told to expect longer wait times due to staff shortages caused by sickness.
A spokesperson for the facility said in a post on Facebook: "Unfortunately we are experiencing significant staff shortages due to sickness.
"This will lead to longer wait times when contacting the surgery.
"Please be considerate with our staff as they are working hard to keep these impacts to a minimum".
The surgery, based at Marlpits Lane, asked for patience and understanding, telling patients: "We will respond to your phone call or online consultation as soon as we can."
Rated 'good' by the Care Quality Commission at its last inspection in May 2018, the surgery provides primary medical services to the people of Honiton.
