Women's shoe store Moshulu at 104 Honiton High Street will open its doors for the final time on Saturday (February 26).

The last day of trading is tomorrow, a sign on the window of the store says "closing down, thank you for shopping with us".

Moshulu is a family-run, independent business that specialises in comfortable, quality footwear for women and men from our Devon home. The company is closing eight stores in total, including the store in Honiton.

A spokesman for Moshulu, whose head office is at Heathpark Industrial Estate, said: "Due to lack of footfall and high business rates, we have made the difficult discussion to close nine stores across the UK, including the store in Honiton.

"It's not a discussion that we take lightly, the staff working at the store have been given the option to work at other stores or take redundancy, many have chosen redundancy."

The nearest stores that remain open is Topsham, Taunton and Sidmouth.

Customers can still shop their range via their website, and click-and-collect is available to the store in Topsham and Honiton.
