A leading tribute group of one of the UK's greatest and most beloved rock bands is set to visit Axminster.
Dire Streets, who bring to life the tunes of Dire Straits, will perform a two-hour show featuring renditions of studio tracks and live versions from the original band's concerts at the Axminster Guildhall on Saturday, January 18 2025.
For nearly a decade, they have been recreating the band's performances to audiences across the UK.
Critiques suggest the tribute's musicians are as close as it gets to reproducing Mark Knopfler's distinctive guitar and vocal tones.
