THE Met Office has issued a weather warning for parts of Somerset and Devon set to come into effect tomorrow morning.
A yellow warning has been issued due to expected strong winds which could cause 'hazardous conditions' from 7am until 6pm on Thursday, March 28.
People living in coastal areas are particularly at risk due to large waves.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected.
"There is a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
"There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
"There is a small chance that some roads and bridges could close."
The northernmost areas encompassed by the warning include Yeovil and the outskirts of Wellington, with areas of Devon including Exmouth and Sidmouth also set to be affected.
