Ofwell hosted a 'brilliant' Ofwell Village Fete on Saturday June 29.
The event was opened by parliamentary candidate for Honiton and Sidmouth Richard Foord and hosted a range of activities taking place including the Tudor Dance Group, Music from Emily, the Twirlstars, a Mad Hatters competition for the children (judged by the Mayor of Honiton), and a really interesting tug of war demonstration by Honiton Young Farmers, which rose to new heights when the children were invited to have a go.
A spokesman said: "Fantastic weather ensuring a brilliant return after ten years, the Offwell Village Fete took place on Saturday 29th June.
"On a beautiful summer day, the fete was opened by Richard Foord, who welcomed the crowds. MC Richard kept everyone informed of the activities taking place
"There were stalls aplenty, raffles, games of skill and more for fun. A bouncy castle, bbq, bar and refreshments, complemented the afternoon and everyone agreed that it was an all round success."
