A new discount retailer is expanding its footprint with the launch of its latest store.

Home Bargains will open its newest branch at Heath Retail Park in Honiton on Saturday, June 20, at 8am.

The company has invested approximately £3 million into the 19,461 sq. ft. location.

Josh Carter, store manager, said: "We’re committed to offering great value, excellent service, and a warm, friendly shopping experience for everyone.

"We look forward to serving Honiton and contributing positively to the town for many years to come."

The opening will create 63 new jobs in the community, with 60 of the positions filled by new hires.

Home Bargains is opening around 50 new stores each year and currently operates more than 600 outlets across the UK.

Mr Carter said: " Really exciting chapter in the HB journey, have been a Store Manager in two of our existing sites; however, this is the first new store I have opened. Really looking forward to delivering great service with Top Brands at Bottom Prices for the Honiton community"

The store will offer a wide range of products, including homewares, health and beauty items, sweets, snacks, drinks, and fresh and frozen food.

It will also feature an in-store bakery, café, and garden centre.

Home Bargains, one of the UK’s largest family-run retailers, serves more than five million customers each week.
