More than £10,000 has been raised for the baby daughter of a mum who died in a car crash while they were travelling to a family holiday.
Caitlin Saunders was travelling from Milton Keynes to Devon with her eleven-month-old daughter Hallie when the crash happened on Saturday, August 8.
Police said they were informed at around 2.10pm of a single-vehicle collision involving a grey Cupra Formentor on the A30 near Honiton.
Caitlin, 28, was the front-seat passenger and was declared dead at the scene.
The driver suffered minor injuries, according to police, while Caitlin's daughter Hallie survived the crash.
Roads policing officers and local officers attended and carried out an investigation, with the road closed for several hours.
A GoFundMe appeal set up in Caitlin's memory by Karen Saunders and Lewis Saunders has now raised more than £10,000.
The money will help Caitlin's family with funeral costs and establish a fund for Hallie to provide financial support as she grows up.
Karen Saunders, Caitlin's aunt, told MKFM: "There are simply no words to describe the devastation the family is facing.
"Caitlin was a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was known and loved by so many people, and the heartbreak of losing her is impossible to put into words.
"Our only comfort is the beautiful little girl she leaves behind."
Karen said it had always been Caitlin's goal in life to be a mum and to work in childcare.
Caitlin began her career at Asquith Nurseries in Oxley Park before later working at The Warbler on the Wharf in Newlands and becoming a mum.
The fundraising appeal describes how being a mum was all Caitlin had wanted and says Hallie was her world.
Karen said: "Hallie turns one next month. Her first birthday should be a day filled with love, laughter and memories made with her mummy. Instead, it will be the first of so many milestones that Caitlin will never get to witness.
"Hallie will grow up without her mummy by her side, to watch her take her first steps, celebrate her first day at school, guide her through life and be there for all the moments that every mum dreams of sharing with her child."
She added: "We want to do everything we possibly can to make sure Hallie always knows just how incredibly loved her mummy was."
The GoFundMe appeal says the family hopes the fund will give Hallie financial security and "a helping hand as she grows up", while easing some of the financial burden she may face in the future.
It also describes the support the family has received from people who knew Caitlin, including messages on social media and tributes connected with her places of work.
Karen said: "We have been overwhelmed with the amount of love, support and all of the messages we have received.
"On behalf of the family, thank you all so much."
In an appeal following the collision, police asked to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened, had relevant dash-cam footage or saw a grey Cupra Formentor before the incident.
Anyone with information was asked to contact police on 101 or through the police website, quoting log 472 of August 8.
The family's appeal concludes: "For Caits. For Hallie. And for a mummy who should have had a lifetime of memories still to make with her little girl.
