COLYTON Carnival went off peacefully, with no incidents of crime reported.Sergeant Gary Phillips said alcohol had been taken from under-age drinkers to avoid possible trouble - but added that the youths were well behaved and good natured."There was no crime at all," he said. "We had amazing support from 22 special constables. They have been heavily involved in the carnival and it was a great time for them to get the congratulations they deserve. "It was a very successful event with great organisation."He gave added thanks to Special Constable Glyn Roberts.
