The Mad Hatter and his friends come out to play in Honiton for Children in Need.

It was a magical day for pupils at Mill Water School in Honiton when they were visited by the Mad Hatter and all his friends for Children in Need.

To mark the occasion pupils dressed up and took part in fun activities with the Hatter aka Jonty Depp, Alice, the Red Queen and White Rabbit played by the school’s music and performing arts teacher Sue King.

The children made hats, cards and portraits for the Red Queen, who came to the Mad Hatter’s tea party, and learned how to do the “Futterwacken” dance.

They also had a special story time, which was especially written by one of the pupils.

Plenty of fun was had by all and the event raised £110 for Children in Need.
