A-road between Honiton and Cullompton reopened after motorist sustains ‘serious injuries’ in collision

The A-road which links Honiton and Cullompton has reopened after a serious collision took place earlier today.

Police are currently at the scene on the A373 at Stoneyford, Cullompton.

Emergency services were called at 11.05am today after the car was in collision with tree.

The male driver and only occupant of the car has sustained serious injuries.

Fire and ambulance and the air ambulance were also called to the scene.

The A373 was closed after the entrance to the Kingsmill Industrial Estate along to Mole Valley Farmers.

Police are advising motorists to avoid the area for the time being if possible.
