East Devon enjoys some of the most scenic coastline in England and hosts The Jurassic Coast - the first designated English World Heritage site - and about one hundred miles of the South West Coast Path from Exeter to Weymouth.

The thriving communities along the water’s edge benefit from the tourist industry - each with its own character and a strong sense of community that evolves in tandem with the many visitors.
Architects and builders in Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth have forged the character of many twentieth century homes - Hatchard Smith in Budleigh and Sampson in Sidmouth. Both epitomise the quality of the properties that are as appealing today as they were when built.
The steep streets of Lyme Regis, winding through the eclectic array of shops, and the cobbled paths in Beer all pass timeless cottages for which Devon is renowned as they lead to the harbours and sea.
