Updated: A30 near Honiton closed for two hours after four-vehicle collision

People are being treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Emergency service personnel are currently at the scene of a collision involving four vehicles near Honiton.
Traffic has come to a standstill on the A30 near Pound Lane, between Honiton and Rawridge.
Police say the road is closed in both directions between Viney Lane (Rawridge) and A303 (Upottery).
It was originally reported that five vehicles were involved in the collision, but police have since confirmed it was four vehicles.
A spokesman said paramedics were treating casualties for ‘minor injuries’, and fire personnel is assisting.
They added that the road is expected to be closed for two hours as recovery work is carried out.
Highways England say a diversion route is in place.
Update 6.30pm: The road remains closed both way but a diversion is in place. Eastbound traffic may exit the A30 near Honiton and join the A35 eastbound towards Kilmington. Near Shute exit the A35 and join Worhams Lane northbound towards Dalwood and Millhayes. Rejoin A30 near Upottery.
Westbound diversion: Exit the A30 near Upottery and follow the hollow triangle diversion symbol in the reverse of the eastbound route.
Update 6.37pm: Highways England reports westbound between Upottery and Honiton now open, still closed eastbound.
Update 6.55pm: A30 now open in both directions
