As a care worker in the Honiton area for the last three years, I can fully appreciate the feelings of disabled residents. It always amazes me how shop owners seem to be blinkered when it comes to disabled access. Two shops in particular, situated in the High Street, namely the new Budgens and relatively new relocated Richleys. Why, oh why, have they not, out of courtesy, put ramps to the doorways, which would be a relatively easy job to do and, as Mrs Henshaw said in the Herald last week, would generate more revenue for these stores?S THOMASStreamers MeadowsHoniton
