Five fire engines were called to the scene


Male cut from wreckage of vehicle.

Firefighters from Axminster and Chard used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a male from the wreckage of a vehicle following an accident near Tytherleigh last night (Sunday).

A vehicle was reported to be in its side at Tytherliegh Hill at 6.13pm.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said one male casualty was inside the vehicle.

He was released and taken into the care of the ambulance service.
