Acclaimed garden open to the public

A PRIZE-winning Axminster garden will be open to the public for the fourth year running to raise money for charity.

A PRIZE-winning Axminster garden will be open to the public for the fourth year running to raise money for charity.Prospect House, in Lyme Road, will be open on behalf of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) from June 7 to 8,and August 2 to 3 between 1.30pm and 5.30pm.The one acre, part-walled garden has extensive views of the Axe Valley and boasts a range of shrubs, perennials and over 200 varieties of salvia. Plants will be on sale, as well as teas and homemade cakes. Entrance is £3 with proceeds going to charities supported by the NGS, which includes Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Help the Hospices.
