Action group set to meet

PEOPLE across Honiton will have their chance to raise any concerns they have about crime at a forthcoming meeting.

PEOPLE across Honiton will have their chance to raise any concerns they have about crime at a forthcoming meeting.The Honiton Local Action Group, which meets every six weeks, wants residents and people from the business community to raise their concerns about crime, disorder or community safety.There will be representatives from different agencies such as the police, Devon Youth Service, town and district councils, health and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.Anyone who has an issue to raise for the group to discuss and decide what action is to be taken, should contact Gerry Moore, the community safety officer for the East and Mid Devon Community Safety Partnership, by Friday, June 20.He can be contacted on (01395) 273802 or by email gmoore@eastdevon.gov.uk. These issues will be discussed with the action group chairman and some members of the public will be invited to attend the meeting on Thursday, July 3, at 10am.
