AN AXMINSTER teenager is urging other youngsters to take up more adventurous activities.
Noah Hillyard, 18, took part in a month long trip to the Moonlands of the Tibetan plateau with Leading Edge Expedition.
He white-water rafted on the Indus River, mountain biked to the Chinese border, and completed a crossing of the Greater Himalaya.
He said: "I would just say do it! The friends that I made on the expedition are a different type of friend - I may not see them much but I know that we will always share a special bond.
"I found the expedition to be a truly life changing experience - not only was it comfortably the most fun I've ever had, I met some amazing people and saw some breathtaking places. The hardest thing about it was coming home!"
