THE sight of aerials, stacked high at the back of the former Globe Antiques Centre in Honiton, has got town councillors hot under the collar.Members of Honiton Town Council's planning committee last week instructed town clerk Lyn Hargood to write to East Devon District Council and call for an investigation.Councillors felt certain newly developed flats at the premises could be served by just one aerial - not six.But Councillor Ron Farnham, who lives a few doors away from the alleged eyesore, says he has already complained to the district authority. He told councillors an official from Knowle visited Dowell Street to view the spectacle - and concluded no further action could be taken.Honiton Town Council is requesting the matter be "revisited".
