Age Concern accepts council's offer

COMPUTER courses formerly offered at Honiton's defunct Age Concern Centre, in King Street, could now operate from the Senior Citizen's Centre on a Tuesday or Friday afternoon.

COMPUTER courses formerly offered at Honiton's defunct Age Concern Centre, in King Street, could now operate from the Senior Citizen's Centre on a Tuesday or Friday afternoon.Following talks with the town council, which leases the senior citizens' centre building from East Devon District Council, the charity has accepted an offer to use the premises.Town clerk Lyn Hargood has been instructed to negotiate the terms.
