VOLUNTEERS are needed to help with Honiton Charity Bike Ride in aid of Devon Air Ambulance, which last year raised �1,800.The 24-mile ride, which takes place on Saturday May 2, starts at 10am from the Otter Inn.Signing in will take place from 9am for the ride, formerly known as Awliscombe Bike Ride.There will be seven stops en-route, with coffee and bacon baps available and a barbecue lunch at Whimple.Under-16s should be accompanied by an adult and riders are asked to remember cycle helmets.Fancy dress is optional and the winner will receive a trophy, donated by A G Symes, of Honiton.There is a minimum donation of �5 to enter and sponsor forms are available from Adrian or Julie on (01404) 44523.
