LYME Regis police confiscated 53 cans and bottles of alcohol from under-age drinkers on Friday, June 25.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team found the youths in the area of Langmoor gardens. They contacted their parents and will send them letter regarding the incident.

Pc Richard Winward said: “Lyme Regis is a really safe place to live and work, but we do recognise that anti-social behaviour by the minority causes concern and worry to many, so we will do everything we can to reduce those incidents.”

Officers worked later than usual in a bid to tackle anti-social behaviour.
