A MAN was arrested for drink driving in Axminster and later charged for assault when he allegedly attacked a police officer.
The man was stopped on Sunday, February 15, at 8.30pm and taken to Heavitree police station in Exeter after he failed a road side breath test.
On route to the station, he is alleged to have kicked an officer.
