Honiton Town Council is not giving up on community centre plans

HONITON Town Council is not giving up on plans to deliver a community centre.

On Monday, councillors attending a policy committee meeting will go into private session – to discuss alternative sites for the scheme.

East Devon District Council has withdrawn its longstanding offer of land behind Lace Walk shopping centre.

Town clerk Lyn Hargood has advised that discussion need to take place behind closed doors because of the possible sensitivity of alternative sites.
