Members of Honiton Craft Club discovered how to create an amazing technicolour skein of wool - using some basic equipment found in the kitchen.

They were joined by guest demonstrator Sharon Jane at their meeting at Honiton Methodist Church last month.

Colours were worked into sections of the skein of wool and allowed to bleed into each other.

It was then closely wrapped in cling film and placed in a microwave for several minutes to set the colours.

The next meeting of Honiton Craft Club is being held on Wednesday, September 25, 10am until noon, at the Methodist Church. The club will be welcoming back popular demonstrator Christine Saunders, who will be showing members another wonderful selection of ideas that are sure to inspire.
