FOLLOWING our page 3 report last week, which stated police in Honiton were investigating an act of outraging public decency, the Herald has received a number of calls asking: What was outrageous about the crime?"

FOLLOWING our page 3 report last week, which stated police in Honiton were investigating an act of outraging public decency, the Herald has received a number of calls asking: "What was outrageous about the crime?"One person feared he could have unintentionally done something outrageous on his way home from the pub.PC Ian Atyeo said: "It is an on-going inquiry. A male was arrested in Honiton on August 28 and is currently on bail to report back to the police station."No further details could be revealed, said PC Atyeo.He referred our inquiry to the police press office at Middlemoor.A spokeswoman there said she had nothing to add to PC Atyeo's statements, but explained the allegation involved a report of a person committing an indecent act in a public place.
