Firefighters from two counties scrambled to latest collision at A35 accident blackspot

Fire crews from two counties were scrambled after reports that people were trapped following a crash at the Hunters Lodge accident blackspot, near Axminster, on Saturday night.

Appliances from Axminster and Colyton were mobilised along with Dorset crews from Charmouth and Lyme Regis.

The Colyton appliance was returned before arriving at the incident as all persons were free and clear of the vehicle, which was made safe by the firefighters in attendance. The incident happened at around 9.30pm.
