POLICE in Honiton are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the town to come forward.

POLICE in Honiton are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the town to come forward.The attack happened outside Stead and Simpson, in High Street, at around 3.30am on Sunday, November 16.It is alleged that a group of three males were abusive to a man and his girlfriend before a member of the group punched the victim in the face, causing injuries.Anybody with information is urged to call Honiton police station on 08452 777444, quoting crime reference number KH/08/1125.
