WITH reference to the recent Tesco planning appeal, heard at Knowle, Sidmouth.I found it a harrowing ordeal, sitting through the six days - I did feel mentally drained. Don't feel I could do that again! As Tony Smith pointed out, a lot of it was legal jargon and was gobbledegook! Well chosen words!I felt at times as if I was in a battlefield - Tesco charging at us with big guns.We did feel helpless. I really wanted to say: "Go away, leave our town alone. We don't want or need them." At that point, I felt as if I wanted the world to stop so that I could get off.Well, we just have to wait now and hope and pray the right decision will be made.Mrs J JeevesStone Close Woodhill View Honiton
