YOUNGSTERS across the Axe Valley and Honiton are being encouraged to apply for a new apprenticeship in the estate agency industry.

John Wood and Co are offering one candidate, aged 16 to 18, the opportunity to work in the sale of residential property division.

Anita Al-Zamily, employer liaison officer at the Business Enterprise Centre, wants to encourage people from Seaton and the surrounding area, Lyme Regis and Honiton to apply.

She said: "If you are a confident people-person, focused on providing excellent customer service, have good computer skills and want to continue training but don't want to pursue and academic course, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to work with a highly professional and well-established organisation.

"You will be working with fully qualified industry experts who will support you in your career goals and provide you with invaluable hands-on experience in the workplace - and you'll gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst earning a salary."

The position is based in Seaton and is full-time, Monday to Fridays, 9am to 5.30pm. Successful candidates will start on a salary of �120 per week. A driving license is desirable but not essential.
