AS residents living in the shadow of Honiton Railway Station battle with South West Trains over 24-hour lighting, the Campaign for Dark Skies has issued a clarion call: "Tell us, if you are affected by light pollution."
Shaun Spiers, chief executive of the campaign, which is jointly run by the British Astronomical Association and the Campaign to Protect Rural England, said: "The unrestricted spread of light can cause a variety of problems. People can find it difficult to sleep at night, due to light spilling into their bedrooms."
The Campaign for Dark Skies would like Honiton residents to take part in a survey, which can be accessed on www.cpre.org.uk until February 12.
