COLONEL Tim Courtenay OBE will officially open an Armed Forces Day exhibition in Seaton later this month.The two-day event is being staged in the town hall and is being put together by local historian Ted Gosling, curator of the Axe Valley Museum in the resort.Memorabilia will be on display during the exhibition, which will take place on Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26. Colonel Courtenay will open the event at 2.30pm on the Thursday.The Seaton branch of the Royal British Legion is supporting the exhibition, which will be open to visitors from 2.30pm to 8pm on June 25 and from 10am to 7.30pm on June 26."It will be an occasion to celebrate, commemorate and thank the armed forces," said Mr Gosling.
