Pensioner tells of ‘incredibly moving’ experience.

A Honiton man joined more than 100 people to protest about the use of military drones.

Tony Simpson attended the demonstration at Epynt Army Range in Wales on Saturday in protest against the use of the remote controlled aircraft, which are tested on the site.

Protesters were able to see the model village used for military training purposes - before being escorted off the premises.

Mr Simpson said: “The experience was incredibly moving. More than 100 people entered the training area and we were all greatly shocked to see this village – I’ve never seen such a thing.”

The protest coincided with Armed Forces Day.
