Police helicopter involved in village operation.
One person has been arrested in Stockland following an alleged assault early this morning.
The police helicopter was seen circling above the village and residents say a road block was in place near the King’s Arms pub.
Numerous residents have contacted the Midweek Herald to report a police presence in the village.
Devon and Cornwall Constabulary says an arrest was made at 6.30am.
