POLICE have made three arrests following a series of burglaries in Seaton.Twenty-five burglaries have been reported this month - dumbfounding police and residents alike.Detectives from Honiton CID are looking into the crimes and have already executed four warrants and carried out searches - with three resulting in property being recovered. (See page 4.)Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Roy Hutter appealed for members of the public to be vigilant and report anything suspicious immediately.He said: "If you are going on holiday then please advise a friend or neighbour, or neighbourhood watch coordinator in the area - and, if possible, allow a family member to enter and remove post or milk from the doorsteps, put different lights on and off and to draw curtains at relevant times."He added that the police rely on public information to get warrants. He asked that anyone who had been offered any items and were not sure where they originated from, to inform the Seaton Neighbourhood team.
