A Feniton youngster has achieved her Booktrack Gold Award by reading 100 books.

Six-year-old Jenna Humphries collected her Gold Booktrack award at Honiton Library last week.

Honiton Library’s supervisor, Linda Isaacson, congratulated the youngster on her achievement, adding: “Jenna really enjoyed doing Booktrack and was following in the footsteps of her older sister.

“It took her just 10 months to complete the challenge, which is really impressive, coming in twice a month to talk to us.

“There wasn’t a theme to the type of books she enjoyed sharing with us. It was quite a variety of books she chose!”
