THE Royal British Legion awarded three Certificates of Appreciation to three collectors at Kilmington Village Hall.

THE Royal British Legion awarded three Certificates of Appreciation to three collectors at Kilmington Village Hall.

The presentation was made on Saturday, November 14, to Maurice and Margaret Andrews and Janet Robertson, for collecting for the Poppy Appeal over the past five years.

Group captain Brian Lavender announced that £2,032 had been raised over the past two weeks. The coffee morning that day raised a further £686. Joan Lovegrove's poppy stall raised over £200.
