Marathon paddlers present 1,000 to the Devon Air Ambulance
A MARATHON canoe trip is helping keep medics in the air.
Two members of the Axe vale Canoe Club raised 1,000 for the Devon Air Ambulance when they took part in the gruelling Devizes to Westminster non-stop race earlier this year.
A support team of six provided back for Tash Kahn-Davies and Ben Sheddon during on their 125 mile trip.
Last week the club handed over a cheque to Bill Price, a Trustee of Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT).
A further 1,000 raised through sponsorship for the marathon race will go towards improvements at the canoe club.
