A TEAM of women at the Axe Yacht Club organised a charity fashion show.Club members entertained visitors on the catwalk and the show and sale of goods raised �641 for Devon Air Ambulance.Clothes and accessories were donated from members and friends and tickets were sold for �5. A DVD of the evening was also sold for �5 to boost takings.Club training secretary Sandra Walker said: " The evening arrived and our glamorous models, the very same team who had done all the sorting and pricing, were ready for the show."They modelled a selection of clothing, from very casual through to the garden at the palace or ladies' day at Royal Ascot gear. They finished with an auction for a very good sheepskin-type coat."The final highlight was the club secretary, Brian Lavender, resplendent in off-the-shoulder boiler suit and purple and wig.
